Osaka Kyokushin Championships

Ryuhei YagiGreat news from the Hombu this month. Master Yagi’s grandson Ryuhei Yagi earned another podium finish a few weeks ago in Osaka. This time he and 3 more team mates competed in Osaka at a Kyokushin Championships. Despite the hours of waiting for his division, he was able to domino match after match to earn a third place finish.

When asked how can his dojo produce so many wins, Ryuhei’s father (Ippei Sensei), response is simple.

“We try to train harder than anybody else.”

I suppose he has taken a page from Dai Sensei book, Oh Myo Zai Hyakku Ren Sen Tan (Secrets are revealed if you practice 100 time and polish 1000 times).

Congratulations to the Yagi family.
