Hundreds of participants were active in the Meibukan Congress 2012. In just 10 days, Master Yagi Meitetsu and his grandson Ryuhei Yagi taught seminars, celebrated Dai Sensei, and took part in a traditional Kata tournament. There were many firsts on this trip that included kumite seminar with Okinawa champion Ryuhei Yagi, weapons seminar with sai and bo, and a detailed dissection of Tensho kata. Master Yagi returns to the warm sun of Okinawa as the president of All Okinawa Karate-do Association to continue contributing to Okinawa Karate as his father did.
