Dai Sensei Yagi Meitoku founded the Meibukan Hombu Dojo in 1952 while his teacher, Chojun Miyagi was alive. Since then he has contributed to Okinawan Karate to be revered by many all over the world. It was on this day, 9 years ago that he passed away leaving behind a legacy of stories and achievements.
